Freya Geo Dome Suite at El Mistico Ranch
(ADULTS ONLY. NO KIDS) (No Pets allowed) Unplug from the city to soak up in nature and experience a romantic getaway with an amazing sunset view at our FREYA Geo Dome Suite at El Mistico Ranch. El Mistico Ranch consist of 30 acres of natural high desert land with natural spring waters, nearby Lincoln National Forest as our next door neighbor. The climate is mild here and the property is vegetated with pinon pine, juniper, and a variety of cacti. Enjoy Stargazing in the middle of nature!
The space
Our Freya Geo Dome Suite consists of two floors.
- First floor houses a queen bed with living space furniture and a work desk.
- Downstair floor has two couch beds that can sleep up to two extra adult guests. Kitchenette and full bathroom are in this floor as well.
Guest access
Guest have access to FREYA’s main patio and deck as well as some shared spaced within the 30 acer ranch like their trails, Sacred fire pit, the hammock areas and the pet cemetery. Main House is off limits at all times!!
Other things to note
El Mistico Ranch is a 30 acer Glamping site. Do consider this is not a hotel and should be considered more like glamorous camping. We are in nature and with that comes its limitations. Be mindful of showers and water use as well as not leaving food outside! Again we are in nature and we do have furry friends like bears and other critters. Expect a 10+/- min hike on uneven trails to get to your dome! Check the weather before coming, to come fully prepared!
We're delighted to introduce you to Chester, our friendly Saint Bernard. At just a year old, Chester is a gentle giant with a heart of gold, spreading joy to all who visit.
Chester not only brings warmth and joy to our guests but also plays an important role in taking care of the property. He roams around the ranch, ensuring that everything is in order and providing a sense of security to our guests. Sometimes, he even accompanies guests to their units to ensure they arrive safely.
If you have any concerns about Chester before arriving or during your stay, please let us know.
The space

Honeymoon
We stayed here 1 night on our honeymoon trip back home. The Geo Dome was incredible. Having to pack our luggage into a wagon and haul it to our dome was a slight inconvenience but we managed. May be worth noting the gravel pathways for those who are not traveling light. The pathways are gravel and some up hill sections. But the view and accommodations made up for any struggle we faced getting there. Would certainly recommend this off the beaten path stay!!! managed. May be be o

National Parks Trip

Cool place
Staying inside a dome was super cool. I recommend bringing a chilled bottle of wine and dinner with you and getting there before the sun goes down so you can find your place and watch the sunset. We missed it on our one night stay. It was a missed opportunity on our part.

Beautiful Location
Honestly the location is amazing. The dome is unique and very cozy. There is nothing negative I can say about the actual location at all!
The host had to be called numerous times by me, my spouse and the other married couple there with their family waiting to get inside. We never got information from the host about how to get on the property and was stuck waiting on the host to finally take a phone call from us or VRBO representative.
