We spent most of our time on daily hikes and day trips-- the hiking is challenging and highly worthwhile.The town has two small groceries open every day and a couple of shops open only on the weekends. The bakery is open daily and highly worth a visit. Rekkedal farm up the road is open for dinners two or three nights a week. "Havila Hotel Geiranger is basically the ultimate anniversary flex. The view is so jaw dropping it feels like Norway hired special effects just for your window. Cozy rooms, calm vibes, and that “wow” moment every time you look outside and the romance is on autopilot. If you want a stay that feels like a love letter wrapped in a fjord panorama, this hotel delivers. Truly the best view in Geiranger, and the perfect anniversary gift. Plus a great breakfast buffet was included. We also enjoyed drinks at the bar and played pool. They also have a huge chess set outside. We got to check in early too which was a bonus!"

"We stayed here for / nights during our visit to Geiranger, Norway. Nice clean property, fun by a friendly couple. They have a full restaurants with many menu choices. The restaurant was packed both nights we were there. The rooms are clean and well kept, but the bathroom was really small and it was hard to keep it dry. Overall great place to stay."
