Welcome to Coastal Virginia's WISEACRE ESTATE! Tranquility & whimsy in 4,000sf Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired home-share on Lake Whitehurst. Privacy on 3 acres w/2 patios; 2 guest bedrooms w/en-suite bath; gourmet kitchen; all-season porch w/hot tub; dog-friendly; work hub; off-street parking; 15 minutes from VB Oceanfront, 5 minutes from Chesapeake Bay. Families, friends, couples, solos, groups. Chill Superhost. Weary of whacko cleaning fees? OURS IS $0!

> PLEASE (PLEASE) DO NOT INQUIRE ABOUT HOSTING EVENTS... VRBO guests only. Allow me to politely repeat: NO EVENTS.

> Guests are privy to 2 private bedrooms with queen beds. They share an updated jack & jill bath w/step-in shower. Additional overnight options are available in the Great Room.
> Full use of kitchen. Plenty of coffee & tea.
> HOT TUB within all-season porch (robes provided), 2 outdoor terraces w/seating.
> Keyless self-entry, WiFi, limitless off-street parking. Amazon Alexa throughout the house... let the music play!

> PET POLICY: Wiseacre is pet-friendly for HOUSE-TRAINED, SOCIALIZED dogs. Please discuss in advance. Fee is $48 (max of 2 dogs). Sorry, no cats, lions or bears. While we love dogs, if yours suffers from separation anxiety, please do not bring to the home. You are responsible for the behavior of your pet; charges evaluated in the event of damage. If you plan to leave your dog here while you are out, they must be crated.

Perfect space for gatherings
I hosted a small photo meetup at Wiseacre and it was the perfect space for it! The owner is fantastic and flexible to your needs. The decor is so unique and fun and the view of the lake is lovely. I loved using the hot tub as well! Thanks Chuck! I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a space that can fit a group of people, or if you just need a getaway!

Anniversary Weekend Getaway & Party
Stunning views of the lake. Spacious grand living room, perfect for entertaining. State of the art large kitchen for preparation and enjoyment. Two comfortable bedrooms with a jack and Jill bathroom. And an amazing host - Chuck took care of every need and concern, he helped me coordinate which took less stress off of me.

Wonderful Stay!
The owner of the property, Chuck, is a wonderful and gracious host. He gave us a full tour and described the very cool history of Wiseacre. He accepted our two med-large dogs who loved to run across the vast yard and tested out the lake. We immediately felt right at home and enjoyed the use of the house. Chuck is super relaxed and generous with the use of his home. And those views - wow! We highly recommend staying at Wiseacre!

10 year anniversary
Chuck was a great host! He welcomed us with open arms into his beautiful home. On site you have everything you need, space, hot tub, privacy, lake views, nature, and close proximity to just about anything. The location is very centrally located to Norfolk, VA Beach, Cape Charles, and Hampton. Wiseacres provided us with the most comfortable place to site see, relax on the lake or take a 5 min drive to low key peaceful beaches. I recommend this place to anyone and I hope to return again someday. Thanks for everything Chuck!
