「Remarkable house! I'm still agape at the beauty of the spalted maple woodwork in the kitchen and front area of the place! Plenty of wood for the stoves kept us really warm. Feeding your Highland cows was a highlight for the little folks!」

「We stayed here while in town for a wedding in Litchfield and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The beds were super comfy, and all the cozy touches—soft blankets, good coffee, and a comfy couch with plenty of lap blankets—made it feel like home. The place was really clean and airy but still felt tucked away in a peaceful, woodsy area.We also loved all the thoughtful details, like extra travel toothbrushes, loofahs, and really nice shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. 「The host was very welcoming and gave a thorough tour of the house. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with 6 adults and 3 granddaughters ages 5,8,9. The girls loved the house - the jacuzzi, hot tub were big hits. They also loved the bottom level with the games and exercise equipment but by far the 3 horses were the biggest hit of all. They loved feeding them and visiting them. The kitchen was large and well equipped and we had a wonderful dinner our first night in the large dining room....

「The management was great and took care of us. The townhouse they upgraded us to without an up charge (due to the cleaning person being unable to clean the unit as she was ill) was spacious, clean, and provided a lot of amenities. The only slight negative was the unit smelled a bit musty, nothing a scented candle couldn't fix, and it could use some updating but the location was great, management was great, and we felt very safe. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would highly recommend staying...
