Great condo for small family.

This condo is very nice. The master bedroom had a very small balcony that is standing room only but the view that's it offers is priceless. I heard the waves every night to put me to sleep and woke up to them every morning. There is a large balcony off the living room. The only thing I did not care for was the balcony was completely screened in. I prefer it to be open. I guess it keeps the bugs away. The condo is on the second floor so there is 4 small flights of stairs that you go up to get to it. The kitchen had every thing we needed except a blender and salt and pepper. The condo was very clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Slightly disappointing

On the morning of our vacation, I noticed they had added to the vrbo site that the property would be undergoing construction and that the pool would be closed. We booked several months in advance, and I know this was not listed when I booked the property because I always make sure to read the listing details twice. So, you can imagine our disappointment (especially with 2 teens boys) when we found out that there would not be pool access. I messaged the host about my concerns but never received a response. In regard to the actual property, I would say it is "just ok." It needs updated badly. The pictures are not an accurate description of the property. The screened in porch was very nice, but the porch shown in the pictures connected to the master bedroom is so small you can barely stand on it. The first thing we noticed when walking into the condo is the musty smell and the horrible sewage smell in the master bathroom. At first glance, the condo appeared to be pretty clean. However, there were cobwebs and water spots on the ceiling as well as other places that were dirty. Our sheets had something sticky on them, so we had to wash them. Also, the master bedroom is warmer than every other room in the condo. The beach access is very nice, and the condo is quiet (other than the construction). Parking is also nice. I will say the overall feel of the condo is homey, despite the negatives mentioned. I've definitely stayed in worse, but I have also stayed in better.

Great Ocean Front Villa
