Welcome to Bertie's Beach Getaway, the perfect place for your family's next beach vacation. Located near the end of 53rd Avenue North, you are a couple of short blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and a fisherman's paradise at the Cherry Grove Ramp. The boat ramp is easily accessible, so bring the jet skis. Enjoy a day at nearby Heritage Shores Nature Preserve, also located at the end of 53rd Avenue in Cherry Grove, which has walking paths, picnic shelters, observation docks, a boat dock, and more.

When you're not at the beach feeling the sand between your toes, take a breather outside on the upstairs balcony and feel your daydreams come to life. The living room is furnished with plush couches and chairs in front of a flatscreen TV, making it an excellent spot for a family movie night. Bertie's Beach Getaway features a fully-equipped kitchen and full-size appliances, along with a kitchen island for prepping meals.

Collect seashells at the beach or fly a kite in the ocean breeze. There's no wrong way to spend your time at North Myrtle Beach. Not worth the money charged for 12 nights.

Most of the home is dated. Very surprising kitchen; refrigerator dated, small and had an odor. The microwave over the oven was rusty inside and out. The few pots and pans were scratched terribly on the insides and no lids matched any pots. There was one decent fryer pan. Over stocked with dishes and cups. Need ceiling fans in all rooms. Especially the living area. Wall paper just barely holding on in bathroom. Beds not comfortable. Blankets in closet needs to be thrown away; old, smelly and stains. I did enjoy the backroom with reclining chairs to watch the tide come in and out. 3rd home prior to crossing bridge at boat landing. Every table is glass. Blinds broken. There is an antique TV/VCR/CD Player/AM & FM in sitting room. Plus many VCR taps to choose from. Overall, the home appeared to be furnished and decorated from a thrift store.
