"The whole place was spotless and staff were wonderful. Usually we stay close to the water but in tamarindo that means being in the noisier part of town. So we opted for this place and used their shuttle to go back and forth. Loved the tranquility, the views of the ocean and the visit from the group of monkeys right at eye level off the back deck. We will definitely be back! "

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Tamarindo Diria! Great location on the beach and walkable to everything. Nice amenities and friendly staff. Good restaurants and amazing breakfast Buffett daily with beautiful views. A great way to start every morning. Be sure to check out the large pool across the street, we almost missed it (our fault, not hotel). Feel like the hotel should provide lounge chairs on the beach (they provide them in grassy area) and shouldn’t be another $30 or so daily paid to third party. But, overall very happy with hotel and recommend. "

"It was our first time in Costa Rica and first time with PH. We will definitely return. Pools were great as well as the beach. The food was good, staff was amazing. Rooms, all in all were pretty clean. They came everyday to make the bed. Shower was clean. Mini fridge and coffee was stocked everyday as well. Very happy with this resort"

"Room and garden area very clean. Just the decor is stuck in the 80’s. Rooms need upgrading. Breakfast could use more variety with hot foods. Pool area stuck in the 80’s. Only limited pool loungers so need to get more. Walking paths need repairs. I wouldn’t wear high heels there. But very clean, quiet and nice to have a patio for each room. I will stay there again as great location to walk downtown. Once we parked the car didn’t drive it u til we left. "
