Not realizing the waterpark wasnt part of the Expedia package I went ahead and called the resort and purchased $300 in waterpark tickets. On 16 April we arrived and checked in at 5:30pm, I asked the front desk where I pick up the passes and they said upstairs and we got up there to find out it closed at 6pm while the website said 8pm. To make matters worse, we discovered that the restaurants and provisions store of the property also closed around the same time. Thankfully, we found a restaurant 5-10 min away, we explained to the waitress what had happened and she informed us her child was supposed to go the next week until they discovered the waterpark would be closed for the week because of spring break. I just got off the phone with costumer service only for them to tell me that there was nothing they could do, I purchased waterpark tickets for Thursday & Friday and they were telling me they wouldnt refund me for something I used, which was one days worth not two. I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone especially if you have small children, there is absolutely nothing for miles. Lastly, we went to find an exra pillow only to find it blood and yellow staining on it, I reported it only to be told it was probably rust from a pipe.

We’ve stayed at Jay Peak in the past and both times were good. Clean cabins, good food. This time was a poor experience and we won’t be back. Our cabin was filthy. The bedding and bathroom was covered in hair, the pull out couch was a thin piece of foam on an awful bed of springs. The bedroom smelled horribly of urine and the main area of the cabin had a strange odor to it as well. It was very disappointing

Spotless condo unit. Kitchen comes with all the essential utensils. Be sure to bring a dish sponge, some extra kitchen towels, coffee grounds and cooking oil/butter. The Golf & Mountain Condos are at the midpoint between the Stateside and Resort Hotel. The on demand shuttle service makes it convenient to reach either lodge. You could also walk to the village quad located across the street. The rear deck has an amazing view of the eastern skyline. Be prepared for a bright sunrise. Loved the fact that the unit came with a washer and dryer, a welcome surprise, so be sure to bring your laundry detergent! Having a clothes dryer available on a ski trip makes a big difference in getting your gear dry and ready for another day on the slopes. The unit was well maintained though has signs of wear and tear from being a ski rental. I wish there was easy access to a gym but skiing provided plenty of physical exercise. I would definitely come back and stay here again for a long weekend!

The property itself was very nice, but on the cottage the carpet was very dirty, the doors were very dirty, and when we went to sleep the 2 beds was full of hair. We called the front desk a few times to request clean sheets; the toilet was clogged, and the washing machine wasn't working. Every time, they arrived quickly and very courteously to fix what was needed. In my opinion, the hotel needed to offer more activities. It was very beautiful, but very boring.

Stayed at the Stateside lodge. Best part about it was all the hangers in the unit to hang our wet clothing from the unfortunate spring rain conditions. Room was nice, beds comfy and staff friendly. We had a great time at Jay and look forward to returning.

Jay Peak is one of our favorite places. We have been going for 10 years. The snow is great, the food is delicious and there are friendly people. But the service seems to be getting a little less friendly and the cost is going up. The ski school has policies that aren’t parent friendly and may have safety implications. There are more and more hidden costs, and the staff seemed annoyed when we needed some fresh towels. It’s not convenient to get small kids to lessons in the morning. It also seems that if prices are around $700 a night there could be better valet service. Killington unpacks your car and brings it to your room and parks the car!!!
