Absolutely cannot fault the property or the owner. The accommodation itself is lovely, the quality of the bed and the little touches the owner provided such as the snacks on offer were fabulous. The location was perfect, secure parking and a nice country pub a short walk away.

Great stay, room and facilities were very clean and decorated to a high standard. The fresh milk, biscuits and mints were a nice touch. The bed was quite hard and the fan was broken (wouldn't tilt or rotate), as it was a hot evening this made it less comfortable but I would still return.

What an amazing place to stay whilst travelling to the area for business. Comfortable, private, quiet, spacious, amazing amenities and very reasonably priced. Great concept and wish there was more places around the UK like this.

Fantastic stay

Such a great find and lovely experience. Excellent communication from Ben ref booking in and access made arrival swift and easy. Excellent value and quiet location. Room superb the owners clearly take a lot of pride in what they do and the available extras although not required are a nice touch.

Great little find

Gorgeous room in a beautiful little village. The room was presented beautifully and there is a full selection of refreshments available to purchase, as well as milk and a kitchenette with everything you could need.

A most pleasant stay

Very well appointed and clean rooms, with ample provision of towels and consumables. The mini kitchen proved very useful and practical. Thank you. The owner responded to all communications very promptly and was very attentive to our needs (my wife is currently injured). We certainly plan to return.

Immaculate

Great communication from the host on the day with clear instructions on how to enter the property. The accommodation itself was immaculate, very comfortable and spacious. All the amenities you could need which was ideal. Struggled to get onto the free WiFi provided and signal not great in the area so would suggest to book taxis in advance if needed. 100% recommend though and will definitely book again.

Cute village but very limited food options on a Tuesday. Rooms 1 and 2 have a full flight of very, very steep stairs. Unit is attractive but the bed is one of the most uncomfortable I have experienced in my travels. The lighting is bright with lots of glare. Unpleasant for reading and lounging. The kitchenette is a plus. Self checkin was easy and parking very handy. The bed is a deal breaker. I would not stay again or recommend.

We stayed for just one night in the way home from London over Xmas and the room was small but very modern and warm we stayed in room 3 but unfortunately the from door was very noisey when people coming in and out as it had to be banged and also the people upstairs seemed to have been walking a lot and the floor boards were very creaky. I did inform the owner and I’m sure he will look into this. It’s a lovely area very quaint but very quiet with only a pub across the road which was fine to eat and drink
