Was clearly an old premier inn, they had started to modernize, will be great when finished. Booked due to the Wacky Warehouse, however it was closed about 2 hours earlier than advertised which left a sad child but the pudding in the pub sorted that out.

This property was in the right location for our stopover, with staying you get 20% off food in restaurant which adds to the value for money. Food was decent and the outside area was lovely to sit at. Staff all helpful and room was quiet at night time so sleeping was easy

Hotel looked exactly like a new or refurbished travelodge. All fine. Breakfast at the Green King pub adjoining was OK but they seemed always low on necessary bits, so you waited for cups so you could get a cup of tea, then realised there were no teaspoons...

Not the best stay. Rooms are basic doors being slammed all night. Breakfast was horrendous staff rude and unorganised cooked breakfast tasted like it was straight out the microwave coffee was not good. Needed to pay £50 deposit when we arrived was not told about this when booking and don’t get it back straight after booking out. Would not recommend and would not stay again

Stayed here a few times now and when i'm in the area i won't be staying anywhere else. Forget the price(it's always cheap if you book in advance) but everything about this place is great. The reception staff always helpful and happy, the restaurant/pub...the staff here are top notch, nothing is too much trouble and you even get a cheeky 20% discount on food if staying the hotel. Oh and there's tonnes of parking too. It's a gem of a place.
