“Our family stayed Mid-June and used the house as our home base while doing day trips in the area. The decor is definitely retro which the kids found really fun. Necessities like the shower and laundry were updated and modern which us adults loved. The house was clean, furniture was comfortable and the views out the bank of windows were unbeatable! The only minor complaint we had is that the mattresses were extremely noisy with every move you make but that didn't stop us from crashing every night……

“We're from Georgia, and we were looking for a place that would have an eclipse rise at maximum coverage at sunrise. What better place than a lake? Well...the Great Lakes are very fickle beasts w.r.t. weather. Nevertheless, after numerous foggy mornings, we got a great view of what we wanted on the day that we needed. The cabin was perfect: directly on the beach, with few other neighbors. Clean. We are big into cooking, so this was also a great place (although bring your own cookware and stop at……

“Love this place and will definitely be back again. Not a high traffic area so that made it better. Huge firepit with plenty of room for chairs. Tvs in all rooms. Cameras outside for that extra security. (Some may not like that but we loved knowing they were there) Grocery stores nearby as well as good pizza places. Wilson state park for swimming. If you have toddlers bring plenty to do as there is good space outside for some fun. Saw plenty of deer, chipmunks and turkeys! All in all a wonderful……

“Great place ! It was clean and had everything we needed. Host is wonderful! We went for a family reunion and didn’t spend a lot of time there as we were busy and it was a short trip . Would definitely stay there again and for a longer stay:) We had some warm nights and it was kind of steamy so I would suggest another ‘window shaker’ AC . They have one but it’s a big space to cover . It was ok with the fans they have . Summer in beautiful Michigan ! 💞”
