The location of the property was great, very close to all the main attractions in Tobermory. However given the pricey cost for 3 night rental my family and I were expecting a high end stay unfortunately this was not the case. The interior of the home had lots of wear and tear. Washroom doors would not close properly. Furniture was aged and worn. The exterior landscaping was very poorly maintained, weeds, shrubs, greenery running wild on property. Also we had to take our garbage to an external remote waste dump site. When we got there it was closed. Luckily we bumped into a local resident at the site and he offered to take our garbage and recycling to his home. No mention of hours of operation on info sheet in home. It’s a shame the owner would expect out of town guests to dump their garbage at a remote site, versus tying it neatly for owner to dispose. Communication instructions were poor, no info received on how to access place. Had to call owner when my family and I arrived to get access code. I would not book again if the cost was so high.
