Tobermory Lake Front (Huron) Brand New Build!

White Orchid is 3,000 sq ft open concept luxury lake front cottage south facing directly on Lake Huron.

The cottage features a large open concept kitchen, dining and great room with two story views of Lake Huron and Youell Island 200 feet offshore. The cottage features exposed wooden beams. Four large windows provide a wide view of Lake Huron.

This cottage features three bedrooms (king in the master suite, queen in the second bedroom and single/double bunks in the third bedroom). Both the king and queen bedrooms have ensuites for convenience. A modern open concept kitchen with island provides ample room for entertaining during meal preparation.

The outdoor space includes over 600 square feet of decking. The shore consists of flat rock making water entry easy. Plenty of clear shallow water for little ones to play in along the shore as well as deeper water for swimming.

Our recent two-night stay at this lakeside cottage was exceptionally relaxing, and we would strongly consider a return visit, especially during the summer season to enjoy the local cruises. View from the large windows facing the lake was amazing. The property is situated in a beautiful scenic area, offering immediate access to the lake and numerous excellent walking trails. The opportunity to sit outdoors and enjoy the fresh air was a major highlight of our trip. While the weather was mostly excellent, we unfortunately missed our last morning outside due to rain. The cottage itself was very clean, spacious, and fully equipped, which significantly contributed to a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the check-in process was seamless, thanks to the clear and kind assistance provided by Bryan. While our overall experience was very positive, there were a few minor aspects that could be improved: 1. Linens: The quality of the linens was adequate, but they appeared wrinkled. 2. Basic Supplies: We noted the absence of essential toiletries, specifically shampoo and conditioner in the washrooms. These supplies would have enhanced guest experience. 3.The requirement of a comprehensive cleaning requirement checklist was a last minute scramble for us before 10 am departure. We had not paid attention to this checklist prior to that.

The view of Lake Huron was stunning from the inside and outside! Very nice, quiet location with comfortable beds and a bathroom for every bedroom. Kitchen was outfitted well, and there was ample room to sit and eat, inside and out. This waa a fall getaway, so we didn't swim. We highly recommend water shoes if you plan to swim - it is a rocky entrance to the water. Very unique! Bryan is a great host and was very responsive to my messages.Fun addition to the family room was a PacMan machine! Thanks for a great stay!

It is a very beautiful, peaceful and picturesque place. One can just sit on the Muskoka chairs and enjoy the breeze and island just in front he property. Beautiful fire pit too but because it was only two of us travelling - we didn't bother to utilize it. The house is spacious and clean and only 12-15 minutes into the town of Tobermory. The grocery store Peacock Foodland is about 7 min away. Bryan is quick to respond to questions and easy going. I would highly recommend this place for those looking for a peaceful get-away and close enough into town.

Beautiful Location in the Bruce Peninsula

Two photographers shared the property for (5) nights in May 2025. The location on the water on the west side of Bruce Peninsula is extremely nice, quiet and off the beaten path setting the stage for relaxation and privacy. The house itself is wide open and includes the essentials for a nice stay (linens/towels are extra charge). Families would have ample space here as there's plenty of room. Host (Bryan) was very responsive and communications were clear and concise. Location of the property is on the northern end of the peninsula so some attractions/hikes/parks are a bit of a drive away but that should not hinder your stay here especially if you don't intend on exploring too far beyond the immediate Tobermory area. Very nice time spent here and would stay again if ever visiting the area in the future.

Peaceful Retreat in Nature – A Perfect Tobermory Escape!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Tobermory! The location was perfect – tucked away in a quiet, wooded area but still just a short drive to the Grotto, Singing Sands Beach, and the harbor. The cottage itself was cozy, clean with modern touch.What we loved most was the sense of peace and privacy.Bryan the owner was f responsive, making check-in and communication smooth.Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Loved it so much that we went back again!

We rented this amazing cottage last Easter and loved it so much that we went back again this year. Beautiful location right on the lakeshore (with amazing windrows that offer fantastic views), comfortable space with lots of room, and a very responsive owner. Highly Recommended

Our family had a great week-long stay at this beautiful cottage in Tobermory. The property has a remote feel, but was only a short drive to Tobermory amenities and attractions. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting Flower Pot island and the museum, hiking, seeing the Grotto, and dining at the many food trucks and restaurants in the area. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-furnished with amazing views.

Amazing place

You can’t believe how spacious and wonderful that place is. From comfort to entertainment, everything you need to have great time is provided. Kitchen is full of stencils and good quality cutlery. I had a wonderful time with my girlfriend and definitely going there again in summer.

Gorgeous property!

We had a 3 night stay just after the new year and we weren’t disappointed. The house is gorgeous, spacious and clean, located on a beautiful lakefront property. Bryan was quick and friendly with all communication and the kids want to come back in the summer:) The area is stunning and we loved our day trip to Bruce Peninsula National park to see the Grotto as well as the visitors centre which has a really cool, museum worthy exhibition about the area. Loved it, thanks Bryan!
