Northern Ontario Hotel with Pool

"I had a good stay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience enjoyable. The room was clean, though there was a slight stuffy or heated-room smell. Maybe adding a ROOM FRESHENER or improving ventilation would make it even better."

"Had to pay for breakfast due to not receiving buffet vouchers because we booked our stays through Expedia and not directly with the hotel. The breakfast was deliciously satisfying but very expensive. The pools were nice but they should invest in fixing the indoor hot tub. It’s all starting to look and feel very dated and run down. "

"We had a connecting door and we could hear everything in the next room. They had a little kid who had a nightmare and it was like they were in our room. It was fine for us but if you need quiet ask for a room that does not connect"

"The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was clean, the window coverings just a little stained but seemed clean. Only problem I found was the room was a long distance from the front door and all other exit doors were only for emergency use. Would be good if I could parked closer to the room and use an alternative door to make it less of a walk to the room with my mobility issues. "

"Very old, dirty. I would never stay there again! My two kids and I had no choice to stay there or else I would have changed hotels. We didn’t feel safe at all, needles all over the building. Drunks in the parking lot, we even found random drunks in the hallway downstairs by the pool. The smell of ammonia and mold literally made me sick. There was no heat in the room, no light bulbs in the lamps, the tv didn’t work, it was just horrible. The building needs an upgrade. The pool needs a cleaning and is unsafe for children. I wish I didn’t spend $180 a night to stay there with my two little kids for 3 nights. Breakfast was about the only thing that was good and that’s because we got a ticket to go to the detached restaurant. Never again!"
