"This property is located in the most beautiful and quiet part on Malta. It has one of the most beautiful private beach with access from the hotel and very large outdoor pool. Staff here goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. Thank you to Kaleem, Sweetson, Dev, Saurva, Rinks, Debu and entire Lagoon bar staff. Lijo at the essence of India really took care of our large family. Thank you everyone for the wonderful and unforgettable memories."

"Came here for the third summer in a row. We’re a family of four (two kids currently 6 and 8). It’s perfect for what we need: all inclusive; big pool; great animation crew who bring lots of energy and games; lots of different restaurants to choose from; kids club; adults only pool; lovely spa; great weather (more Malta’s doing than the DB Seabank, of course); a room with the partition to separate us from the kids (so valuable). And the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I’d recommend to any family like ours. And also worth keeping in mind … the price seems a lot more reasonable when you compare seeking the same amount of amenities and options in one resort across other sunny destinations. So I’d say you definitely get more bang for your buck."

"Hotel room was lovely, large space. We had a hot tub but only used it once. View from room over the harbour was beautiful. Not much around the area but this was ideal for us as we were spending 2 nights to relax before moving on to Sliema. Restaurant was lovely, breakfast menu there was loads to choose from and plenty of it. Pool was lovely with music and comfy beds. Vibe was relaxed and just what we needed. Perfect hotel for relaxing, not sure if you wanted to walk where there is but would recommend. Indoor pool looked great, although the floor was covered in algae but I think it was down to the natural rock."

"Been a few years since we booked this hotel ,and to be honest there's a big difference. Lovely little garden and spotlessly clean all around .The bar as had a really lovely refurbishment, so much better .For a budget hotel you cant really moan .Nice comfortable beds and room serviced every day .Staff are great ,loved the Italian man on reception so friendly and helpful , think he said his name was Cowie?.,but anyway nice bloke. Anyway for what we paid in that time of the year was a bargain for the four of us.Breakfast ,we ordered at the table and was freshly cooked and ok. It's a little bit out of the way to the main square if you have walking difficulties but on the whole we enjoyed it"

"Food was lovely, staff were friendly (except one member of staff in the Ombré restaurant) hotel was very clean, shops in the hotel are a rip off, gym was small. The Sabi pool area and restaurant across the road was brilliant! Kids pool and infinity pool was really good, didn’t get to see the adults only area as the kids were attached to us (unfortunately we’re not blessed with grandparents)"
