"Excellent staff on reception - room cleaning service was mixed - excellent some days, other days it was left as if it had been rushed - part made beds but was always left clean. The Harbour Villa was well equipped with a great balcony area - some traffic noise around 8am for 30 mins but the view over esplanade/sea was fantastic. The extended use of the room for 2 hours until midday was appreciated but AU$50 was a little excessive for such a short extention "

"We came for a short stay to celebrate a significant birthday. For more context, there were four of us, all adults. We really enjoyed our stay at Desert Gardens Hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. We ate at both restaurants and enjoyed every meal. Having the pool was essential. "

"Thank you to the reception staff who saw us with big suitcases and he changed our room to be in the ground floor room without even asking. Much appreciated! "
