  • ALL ABOUT THE INSIDE:
    Entry through the private courtyard straight into the

    Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner
    Karndean flooring throughout this very well fitted and stylish kitchen with an electric cooker with induction hob, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine, microwave and toaster. There’s a large smart TV in the lounge and free unlimited superfast Wi-Fi so you can access all your usual online viewing. Snuggle up on the comfortable sofa in front of the wood burning stove for those frosty nights or throw the doors open and let the fresh air and bird song in on a sunny evening.

    Kingsize bedroom
    Very comfortable king size bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers, hair dryer and lovely views across the fields.

    En-suite shower room
    Modern spacious shower room, with toilet, sink, shaver point and storage.

    ALL ABOUT THE OUTSIDE:
    Courtyard
    Bumblebee has its own patio area with outside seating and direct access to the paddock through 3ft solid wooden fencing. Bumblebee also has its own two-seater hot tub for the ultimate relaxing holiday.

    Paddock
    The paddock fencing is slightly higher than the courtyard, but not solid. There is wire stock fencing between the post and rail fencing. Guests staying at The Walnut and The Peanut have shared access to the paddock, but only one property may have use at one time.

Relaxing

Bumblebee cottage was the most tranquil holiday cottage I have ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful scenery too look out on .Many places to visit nearby and plenty of walks for dogs. Pubs and cafes all very dog friendly and selected areas on beaches.

Lovely place to stay

Bumblebee Cottage was a delightful place to stay. Beautifully cottage with everything we could want. My dogs loved the paddock to play in and we enjoyed an evening dip in the hot tub. Great location to explore the Norfolk coastline but also really peaceful. Can’t wait to come back

Our favourite 5 ⭐️Norfolk stay

We love Bumblebee. It’s a well thought through cottage, comfortable and homely yet with all the mod-cons you could wish for. The standard of finish and cleanliness is to a high standard. It’s located in a lovely area, close to beaches and surrounded by fields. It brings nature to the door and a sense of tranquility. The owners are super helpful, if required, and discreetly in the background. We love it there, been a few times and booked for next year. Bumblebee is well worth a visit.

A bee-autiful place to stay

Bumblebee is very lovely - really comfortable and well thought out accommodation with a great hot tub and of course the dog paddock. An easy walk to the coast and the Star pub - what could be better? Thanks to Paul and Stella who are excellent hosts and thanks for the welcome pack - Daisy the greyhound just loves the dog treats. Thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous stay

Bumblebee cottage is lovely. It has everything you need for a holiday. The property was very clean and beautifully finished. The large paddock was wonderful for the dogs, it even had a warm tap outside to shower the dogs if needed. Situated a short walk from a lovely pub. It is very peaceful and the lighthouse can be seen from the property. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The Bumblebee

Our stay at The Bumblebee was as perfect as it could be. Everything was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented throughout. Our two greyhounds enjoyed the local walks and ambling around the paddock. The hot tub was an added bonus. Paul and Stella made us feel very welcome and we can't wait to return.

Simply the best

Absolutely can not fault our stay at Bumblebee Cottage. Due to a family health issue we didn’t think we would make it there. But we did, and we were made very welcome. There is everything you could possibly need in the cottage. Our dogs settled in so well. The welcome pack was especially good and some nice little personalised touches. Thank you Stella & Paul xx

Perfect place for relaxation!!

We have had a most relaxing week here. The dogs have loved the local walks and beaches, the paddock to play in and the welcome biscuits. We have loved everything about the cottage, from the welcome hamper to everything inside and outside. Relaxing evenings in the hot tub and a nice peaceful area to relax outside. We will definitely be returning as soon as we are able to.

Perfect!

A perfect, relaxing, peaceful week at a very beautiful cottage. Bumblebee has been lovingly restored to a very high standard. The owners were very friendly & happy to have a chat & left us with a very generous welcome hamper on arrival. Shared with The Walnut & The Peanut, the dog paddock is a great addition & there are excellent walks from the door & the nearest beach is only a few minutes drive. Overall, we've had a really lovely week with some great weather for March!

A little piece of heaven

We returned to Bumblebee in a different season and found a tranquil peaceful haven surrounded by nature bursting into spring. The cottage is more than comfortable, beautifully presented and the patio is a sun trap. There is everything there for humans and dogs. The walks from the front door are relaxing and the beach is 5 minutes away. The owners are supportive and friendly but unobtrusive. We will be back! In fact already booked for the autumn.

Great place to chill

The cottage and owners were first class, everything you and your four legged friend could ask for. We loved the area, so many fantastic beaches and walks. There were recommendations for places to eat and drink, with your dog. Generally with all the dog orientated information the holiday was stress free. Which made it even better. We will return later in the year with the confidence that we will be chilling in comfort. We loved it.

Simply the best

Stayed 4 nights at bumblebee cottage it was like home from home actually better as had hot tub and wood burner which made it so cosy. The attention to detail was amazing the welcoming hamper the beautiful smell as you walked in and the fresh tulips and lots more that just caught your eye everyday. Lovely large garden for dogs shared with the other 2 cottages which isn’t a problem and you still have your own little outside patio alot of lovely towns and beeches a short drive away, there was a pub with great food about half hr walk away. There was a lot of information in bumblebee cottage if you needed or ask Paul or Stella they were very helpful.

Well what can I say, everything about Bumblebee was of a very high standard. This was our first holiday with Frankie, our Cocker Spaniel and I have to admit I was a bit worried, would he settle, how would he behave? I needn’t have worried he settled very well and we had an excellent holiday and we were very lucky with the weather too. There are so many lovely places to visit within a short journey of the cottage. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing!

Where to start? Stella and Paul have created an idyllic and beautiful holiday spot. The quality of accommodation is inspiring. Everything is thought of for both people and their four-legged family members. You just can’t say enough about the hosts and the cottages. We live nearby and stayed while undertaking renos. We have already recommended to friends and family and would most certainly stay again! Perfection.

Beautiful Bumblebee

We stayed at the new Bumblebee cottage as a family group along with The Walnut and The Peanut. We were welcomed with a lovely basket of local goodies. The cottage is beautifully furnished and the log burner is great for cosy evenings. There are lovely views over the fields through the windows and stable door. Everything you could need is provided for humans and dogs. The hot tub was so relaxing with towelling robes provided and checked by the owners daily. Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope to be back soon!

What a lovely property! As soon as you walked in you could appreciate the effort the owners have put in. The decor, clean and spacious and with everything we needed and more. A lovely generous welcome pack on arrival with treats included for our dogs along with bowls, towels and beds for them. Great location for walks and close to several different beaches. The dogs had use of courtyard and secure green which they made good use of whilst we relaxed in the hot tub! The owners are on site and were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would love to come back soon.

Beautiful dog friendly cottage in a lovely location

Just had a great two weeks at Bumblebee. Perfect for us and our two dogs. Everything provided that we needed and a lovely welcome basket. Large shared paddock right outside was easy to use, torches and outside lights provided for use last thing at night. About a mile and a half flat walk to the beach at Cart gap which has a little cafe with beach huts provided for dog owners. The whole area is very dog friendly. Paul and Stella were very welcoming and helpful. We are already planning our next visit.

Perfect!

Perfectly peaceful but just a short drive to everything, Bumblebee is the best yet! East Ruston Cottages always get it right but Bumblebee is just perfect. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and comfortable. The goodies basket was delicious (super baked goods), the dogs loved the play field and our bed was more comfortable than at home (seriously!). Beautiful views from hot tub heaven every evening and cool early morning strolls along quiet lanes & tracks. We would highly recommend Bumblebee as a super dog friendly and comfortable cottage for two people. Spotlessly clean with everything needed for a relaxing break. Thank you ERC & Bumblebee Owners.

Beautifully presented cosy cottage in relaxed rural setting

We had a fantastic stay at Bumblebee. Paul and Stella have done a wonderful job building, decorating and furnishing this cottage. Everything has been done to such a high standard it was a joy to be there. The sofa and bed were super comfy and perfect for cosy nights in and lovely lie ins. We loved the location - having a paddock to use was a real plus, where Albus could also meet up with other friendly dogs staying and play with his ball. So rural that during our stay the potato crop was being harvested which was very cool. Fab walks from the door and lovely places to eat too. We enjoyed a walk to Happisburgh as well as trips to Bacton Woods, Blickling Estate and coastal locations like Walcott, Bacton and Waxham. We saw seals popping their heads out of the water at Waxham which was wonderful. Only disappointment was that our week came to an end and we’ve had to come home. Staying at an ERC is a joy for dog owners - nothing else comes close!

Terrific cottage

Bumblebee is a well thought through modern cottage with lots of character. Paul and Stella are owners who clearly have a passion for their business. This is a great dog friendly property but doesn’t let the humans down either. Lots of mod cons, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. It’s in a quiet but accessible location. The facilities for dogs are great from the outside shower to paddock to lots of dog toys and throws. I really trust East Rushton Cottages on their choice for their portfolio and Bumblebee and Willow tree holidays are a winner. It came recommended by Sue for the quiet location for a reactive Cairn to escape fireworks and it delivered. It’s been a great find for us , and hopefully we will return.
