Highly recommended!
The guest house environment is very nice and decent. With parking which is very convenient for us. Rob is very friendly and helpful. Also I love the breakfast very very much! MUST come again on our future trip to Norwich!

My first Norwich trip
Rob & Kate are wonderful hosts ! They went out of their way to make my trip comfortable and smooth. The cleanliness is fantastic as is the whole experience of the stay. The 20 mins walk through the lovely woods to the university was the high point of my day, not having a ride was hardly missed. All COVID protocols were in place which was very reassuring. I will definitely come back here. Thank you Rob & Kate !

Perfect guesthouse close to the LCR

Excellent stay
Really friendly welcome from Rob, lovely spacious room with fridge, microwave, table, chairs, desk, cutlery, tea, coffee, kettle and even breakfast cereals, milk and orange juice. The bathroom was clean with complementary shampoo etc. Bed was comfortable. Couldn't have wished for better accommodation.

The owner was very warm and welcoming and gave us very nice suggestion on nearby sightseeing and eating-out. The rooms were quite comfortable and well equipped, especially for family stay. The property was quiet and peaceful and at a comfortable distance from the City Centre. Overall, had a lovely stay and will surely like to book again if we we plan another visit next time.

A fabulous one night stay.
This B&B is situated in a quiet, semi-rural part of the city, which is within easy reach of the UEA and Norwich hospital. Its location is a little tricky to find, but easily accessible by car. The B&B itself is well maintained, cheerful and modern in appearance and it's friendly owners were welcoming, upon arrival, with the offer of a cup of coffee. Advice was offered, regarding directions to local places to eat and shop. The room itself, was spacious and tastefully decorated with contemporary and we'll matching furnishings and accessories. The view over the local gardens, allotments and local woodland was fabulous.The bed was extremely comfortable and conducive to a peaceful sleep. The breakfast room was cheery and inviting, being well laid out with a fabulous selection of items for a continental breakfast. This was all included in the cost of the stay and was sufficient for my requirments. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay and would be happy to to return.

Great Stay!!!
Our stay was great!!! We went to Sundown Festival and we stayed just for a night! The room is very cozy, the bathroom is super clean ...and the owners are very amazing. The breakfast is delicious and the ambient is perfect!! And ....I forgot my purse there and Rob carefully e-mailed me to warn me . So he sent it to me by Royal Mail. Thanks a lot! I will be ever thankfull.

An expensive b&b with some significant weaknesses.
Laundry left in halls ways, Breakfast tables left uncleared, paint work chipped and flaking. Room was dirty and needed a thorough clean. Carpets needed cleaning throughout the areas we saw. But a friendly welcome. Breakfast was continental only making this quiet an expensive option. Homemade bread was nice.

Great place. Only query for some would be location which is way out of town. I was visiting the hospital and it is ideal for that - short walk.

I needed somewhere to stay that was comfortable and easy to get to the University of East Anglia. I noticed previous reviews were very good and my stay exceeded my expectations. Rob was a very welcoming host, the room was v comfortable and breakfast was just what I needed. Can highly recommend.

Last minute booking, we decided to stay overnight after seeing the Darkness in Norwich. Excellent accommodation and lovely people! Definitely will be back and recommend Cringleford guest house.

Excellent!
Like staying at your favorite aunt’s house. Room was spacious (even with two adults, one child and one toddler). Beds were (dare I say) even more comfortable than what we have at home. Room was impeccably clean. Breakfast was a big spread given the price of the room (breakfast was very good). Owners were both there and friendly and accommodating. The location was a little off the beaten path, so have a car or be ready to walk a bit (this was absolutely not a detractor for us). If we’re ever back in the area, I won’t even bother researching again...staying here for a repeat visit is the obvious choice. Two thumbs up. If I had more than two thumbs, I’d put them up, too!

Overnight stay visiting friends.
The guest house is in a really beautiful area of Norwich. The hosts Kate and and Rob are very welcoming. The guest house has a family atmosphere. Kate recommended a wonderful walk that my daughter and I took on the Sunday morning. Just at the bottom of the road you'll find the university of Norwich grounds that are open to the public complete with stunning lake and woods. It is a beautiful way to start a Sunday. Breakfast is continental but includes fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants , toast and cereals . The rooon was en-suite, plenty of towels, very clean, tidy and complete with tv. The room faced the back garden so very quiet. Great nights sleep. Everything you need from a guest house and more.

although had booked an paid for a family room we were given a double room which was very nice although we would have liked the extra space from a family room.we stayed 2 nights and the breakfast was ample and host very nice the guest house was within walking distance to the venue we were visiting overall great stay.

Lovely bed and breakfast; Highly recommended.
We are a family of 4 and stayed together in the family room. Everything was lovely. Nothing to complain about whatsoever. Most of the rooms are up a flight of stairs. Breakfast is served on the ground floor. For other travellers, don't be put off by the underwhelming exterior of the building in winter, it's the inside that counts and it is superb. All in all, a lovely place and very good value for what we paid.

Fantastic self-catering flat
Fantastic stay- I was given the 'annexe' meaning that I had a self-catering apartment with plenty of space and the ability to cook myself evening meals (important when away from home for a few days). The annexe has been recently refurbed and is in great condition, a real 'home away from home'. The owners, Rob and Kate, were really friendly and accommodating and I can't rate this place highly enough.

Rob made us feel welcome before we arrived checking on bed layout and dietary requirements. Prepared the room early to help us make a party and could not have been more accommodating. Room finished to high standard and hotel clean and tidy throughout. Plentiful breakfast and a thoughtful phone call when we left sow thing behind. Highly recommended.
