Estimado huésped, no sabemos por qué escribió una reseña cuando no se quedó en nuestra propiedad. Presentamos una queja a Expedia solicitando que eliminemos esto porque no te quedaste con nosotros. Su conductor nos informó que, a excepción de nuestro hotel, se había alojado en hoteles de 5 estrellas durante el resto de su estadía en Sri Lanka. Quizás haya reservado nuestro hotel por error pensando que somos un establecimiento formal, pero sería injusto juzgar nuestro hotel en función de un error que haya cometido. Quizás esté enojado porque no le reembolsamos su reserva. No podemos ofrecer cancelación gratuita en el último minuto. Solo para mayor claridad, somos un pequeño hotel de alojamiento y desayuno con solo 4 habitaciones situado en medio de una increíble plantación de té rodeada de paisajes y un personal maravilloso. Como puede ver en todas las demás reseñas, casi todos nuestros huéspedes están contentos con su estadía. Lamentamos mucho que haya malinterpretado nuestra propiedad, pero espero sinceramente que entienda que no podemos hacer reembolsos de última hora sin culpa nuestra.Dear Guest, we don’t know why you wrote a review when you did not stay at our property. We lodged a complain to Expedia asking to remove this as you did not stay with us. Your driver informed us that except for our hotel you had stayed in 5-star hotels during all the rest of your stay in Sri Lanka. Perhaps you had booked our hotel by mistake thinking we are a formal establishment, but it would be unfair to judge our hotel based on a mistake you had made. Perhaps you are angry that we did not refund your booking. We can’t offer free cancellation in the last minute. Just for clarity we are a small bed and breakfast hotel with just 4 rooms situated in the middle of an amazing tea estate surrounded by scenery and wonderful staff. As you can see from all other reviews almost all our guests are happy with their stay. We are very sorry you misunderstood our property, but I sincerely hope that you would understand that we can’t make last minute refunds for no fault of ours.

Dear Lulu, Thank you for your review and we are very sorry you felt that we did not live up to your expectations. As you can see vast majority of our guests like their stay and reading your review we kind of got the impression that you got the hotel misunderstood when booking. Just to be clear, we are not a regular hotel. We are a villa with 4 rooms. Unlike regular hotels with corridors for rooms, we are more like a house with 4 rooms, which most of our guests enjoy unlike a standard hotel. Yes during checkout time and during morning breakfast time, there may be some other guests but once again we rarely hear complains about this. However we have a massive common balcony where most of our guests spend their time right opposite the tea estate, we also offer free bicycles for guests to ride. Also as we are located right in the middle of a tea estate most guests either take a walk or visit the famous lake Gregory which is located about 300 meters from the villa. We find some of the details in your review about the room and bathroom are not accurate but we wish not to elaborate because these are never really issues we face from other guests. Overall we are very sorry that we did not live up to your expectations. Now that you know what we really represents, we would love to welcome you back again so that we can ensure that you will have the most amazing time. If you do, I will personally look into your stay to ensure that you will have a completely new experience with us. We are looking forward to welcome you once again.
