We reserved a queen room and were upgraded to a king with a balcony. What a nice surprise! I called for help with the OpenKey app to open the front door. Friendly staff answered immediately and talked me through process while staying on the line. Stylish clean lobby. Simple white bedding with soft pillows. Clean tile bathroom with plenty of hot water and a rain shower head. The water pressure in the toilet was low but we managed. Hot Keurig coffee available in the lobby early am. We watched the sunrise from the balcony. The location is a block from Ocean Park where there is overnight parking. Shops nearby and 15 minute parking spaces out front for unloading luggage.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Oak Bluffs. Minutes to the Inkwell and the Circuit Ave strip. Great place to spend a quick weekend getaway.

For a visit in the dead of winter, parking was a breeze nearby(street parking, likely no enforcement of 4 hour limit in effect in summer). A good year-round (!!) restaurant/brewery right across the street. For a low price, I was surprised to be given Room 3, the Nashua suite, which has 3 bedrooms for just me! Only downside-bathroom was freezing cold. Major construction is going on RIGHT next door, so check that situation first if you’re not an early riser (eg 7 am). I happened upon a very kind staff person onsite who was walking in and let me in when the Open Key app didnt work for me. Thank God for that! I was calling the phone number, but it was so much better having a live person there. and she have me physical cardkeys for both inside and outside doors. The two other times I stayed at places without anyone there for checkin (in Cornwall, England) I also had a hard time getting in-one had misleading direction for the correct address and gate to find the keypad). So I dont recommend this kind of remote checkin for elders or others who might be technophobes.

This is a quiet, comfortable, clean environment in walking distance to stores, the beach, restaurants, the post office, and the bus stop. There is parking in front of and a short distance walk from the hotel. The rooms are updated and offer what is needed for a relaxing stay.

The room was clean. The only problem I had was not getting my key prior to 3. Called the day before because the text I received said you can try the app and it will should your reservation but it did not it states that there may be a problem because you booked on a third party site. Called and they said that it was outdated. Called the next day at two like the text said to see if my room was ready. Person stated that I would received a text in 45 minutes. I is not received a text and wanted until 3:04 before I called and they had to send me the key.

First and foremost….there is no one there to welcome you in. The person I called to get in was very available but other than that no one else working in the building. Shower was amazing. Nice bathroom. Bed was fine. Because I was in the front of the building I heard everything going on on the street.

The instructions received for the electronic self check in were unclear snd incomplete resulting in 3 calls to a number and finally being given the code to the lockbox where there was a key. That process took close to 30 minutes to resolve.

The hotel was clean, convenient and exactly as described. The Morgan was priced right for our stay, we wanted to explore the island and were not looking for a resort style hotel. However; the bed was very uncomfortable-the mattress should be replaced.

For the money they charged I was expecting more. It seemed like I was staying at a Motel 6. Carpet tape residue left on the floor, could have dressed the cable wires a little neater, and a bigger refrigerator would be nice. Had no place to store leftovers or extra drinks, beer, water, soda..etc

This was the third year in a row I stayed at the Morgan Hotel in Oak Bluffs for my annual visit to MV. It’s quite good, very nice and convenient. The rooms are clean, each room is slightly different in configuration and design, unlike chain hotels, with very nice bathrooms. Highly recommended.

The location is fabulous. We enjoyed the private deck, but struggled with having such a small room with only a king bed and two tiny nightstands. This meant having to live out of a suitcase and store the suitcases in the corners of the room ss the closet is too shallow. In addition, the early morning sun was intense and direct and the window treatments did nothing to block it.
