Wonderful Experience

One of the best last minute trip experience’s. We had been visiting Gatlinburg and decided to visit our Kids friends after they had recently moved to the area. What a find! Pool was fantastic, short drive to anything else you could want or need. Will definitely stay again. Thanks so much for the experience!

Anchors Down was everything I hoped it would be except that the AC was broken. After we had unpacked and made lol the beds we realized it was not getting cooler in the duplex. I messaged the rental company and they responded so quickly considering it was after 5 pm. The only viable solution offered once the problem was identified was to move into the other side of the duplex. Management thought this was a good deal because the unit was bigger. 4 bedrooms vs 3. There were only 3 people. We did not need bigger. This unit was two stories one bedroom downstairs and 3 upstairs. My 90 YO mom has significant mobility and visual impairments, she was not going upstairs. I have an Achilles tendon tear and stairs are quite difficult for me. But I now was having to do stairs. The access into the original duplex side was straight in front of a convenient parking space. No steps. The new side access was from a car parked almost in the road, over misshaped and very uneven p era, up three wonky steps with no rail. This was a terrible set up for mom. The kitchen with counter height bar stool seating is not good for mom. The original unit had a large regular dining room table. This unit was not terrible if your visitors were quite able bodied. I messaged the rental co when I fully realized how this unit functioned with our needs. (The switch happened about 7 pm on our check in day. We had no supper, we had been traveling for 8 hours.) No response from the company. Disappointed
