Comfortable and relaxing

The condo was beautifully decorated and maintained. There was plenty of room for our family to be comfortable and stretch out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Relaxing stay

We stayed in this property mid September. Very spacious and nicely decorated. I didn't give it 5 stars because of a few reasons. First, the blinds in the bedroom facing the patio were broken. They were missing many panels and one fell off that was held on with tape (i emailed management about this issue). Not only does it not block the light early in the morning, you have to change in another room. Second, we wanted to wash some clothing but there was no laundry soap. Past guests must have left some after washing their laundry but none was to be found. Keep in mind you have to buy soap for dishes, laundry and toilet paper. Third, being so close to the beach it would be nice to have beach chairs to use. It got costly when we had to buy chairs and an umbrella. All in all it was a nice place and close to the grocery store, just keep in mind you will need to buy a number of things.

Best Family Get-a-way ever!

First, I must say that we had the smoothest, most effortless and professional check-in with BBR. The ladies who welcomed and checked us in acted like they loved their job...They were smiling and friendly. Tumlin's Tide OW#2104 was a beautiful unit. It was very tastefully decorated with a subtle beach theme. Everything in the unit was in working order. The kitchen was stocked with adequate cooking and dining utensils. They have a coffee pot, electric can opener, crockpot, etc. The cookware, Select by Caphalon was super nice to cook in. All of the appliances were updated and in great condition. The beds were comfortable. (*We forgot our own pillows by accident...we would suggest bringing your own pillow...but we made do just fine). The bathrooms were roomy. The bathrooms both have showers, no tubs...but we made do just fine. The televisions were a BIG bonus! Loved the size of the one in living room. WiFi was wonderful, we had no problems. There was an elevator that made loading and unloading extremely easy. The walk to the beach was perfect. We had multiple generations in this trip and we had plenty of gathering space, and at the same time privacy when needed. We loved that this condo was very child friendly...no breakables at child hand levels. We had two nice parking spots under the condo. We enjoyed the pool...nicely maintained. We loved the location being so close to Food Lion, DQ and several restaurants within walking distance (we like Beana's and Oak Island Restaurant) and Pelican Seafood for fresh fish and shrimp was within walking distance. And if you need a souvenir t-shirt or bric-n-brac, you can walk one block. If I had one issue, it would be that there was some noise from guests above us, but the noise subsided after a certain hour and you should expect that whenever you stay away from home. You can not get the full ocean front view, but you have a sweet peek-a-boo glimpse off of the nice balcony. All the guests we came in contact with seem to be well behaved families just looking for relaxation and fun. We would use BBR again with no hesitation and we do look forward to a trip next year!!!!

Nice place

The condo itself was very nice and everyone in my family enjoyed it. I will say to state this has an Ocean View is misleading as to where this condo is located. We had a 72 year old Grandma with us and I was under the impression it was much closer. You have to lean over the balcony to see a sliver of the ocean. If that doesn't matter to you then the place itself is great.

Great Location - Close to the Beach

We just got back from a wonderful family vacation on OKI! This was our first time on the island and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was nice and was in a great location close to just about everything you would need and just a hop and a skip down to the beach. As far as the condo itself, it was great - very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to OKI!!!

Great time!

Great location. Plenty of room. Not far from the beach. We were celebrating my father's 80th birthday. Had family from NY, Texas, Tn, and NC. Would stay again. My granddaughter especially enjoyed the pool and balcony.
