Great location with easy beach access!

We enjoyed our time at Sol Retreat and would rent again. The price was right, the beds comfy and the location was excellent. Easy beach access and close to many thing like yummy Sunset Slush, mini golf, and grocery stores. Had a couple small issues and appreciate Oak Island Accommodations for taking care of them for us.

Good location but a few issues

Overall good stay, however, we had a few issues. They have you do a lot of the cleaning work and you have to make the beds yourself. It was pretty clean but the floors were still covered in sand when we arrived. The door code that was provided did not work when we tried to get in, but it was easy enough to get ahold of someone to reset the code. Lastly, the fire alarm in the master bedroom kept going off in the middle of the night! For no reason. We had to have someone come out and replace the whole unit. Also didn’t seem that you could use the living room tv and master tv at the same time without them messing eachother up. Again, everything else was great, but these issues were a bummer.
