「Wonderful location, great trails right out the door, creek near by, sounds at night only of frogs and owls. Very nice and responsive hosts. Not for everyone; it is rustic, not elegant -- but exactly what we want. Also a great deal for the price. Having a full kitchen saved us a lot of money. 」

「Unfortunately there were a few issues with the property people should be aware of given the higher price to rent. 1) the oven is broken. Their replacement was a toaster oven, which isn’t suitable for cooking for a family of 4. This was not disclosed. There also aren’t many plates and utensils so bring your own if you’re going to eat a couple of meals here. 2) it’s located on PCH near the fire cleanup (also not disclosed) so there’s significant construction happening all day AND all night....

「Our adult son stayed in this unit during Thanksgiving while we (parents) stayed in the upstairs unit. It worked out very well. We were asked to rate the pool, but we are not aware of any pool here. It is most curious! There is no NA category, so I put a 1 since every question requires an answer of some kind. 」
