The interior is nicely appointed, so much original character, thoughtfully preserved. Must love trains- the railyard is active around the clock- which was a plus for me to be so close to this exciting industrious activity, but it does screech sometimes if you're sensitive to that, so there's earplugs provided. “Check-in was clear and easy. The rooms were cozy and everything was clean. I did overlook there being no TV in the listing, but that’s on me. Just something to be sure to note if you’re someone that needs that amenity. The lower bunk is on the floor, so everyone that sleeps in that room needs to be fully able bodied to use either bunk. “Communication was a bit delayed, and the address did not include a zip code which led us to the same address in the wrong neighboring town. So that's something that people should be aware of. Other than that, the place is lovely although I wouldn't want to try to drive up that driveway in the snow or ice. That could be treacherous. But it is really nice place, and we enjoyed it.”
