So nice to stay in a historic (old by NZ standards at least :-D) building. It is beautiful and should be celebrated like that. It was also lovely to read the pamphlet about its history. I wish they could put the parapet back up!

Last time I stayed at this Hotel was 30 years ago. Was perfectly adequate for a comfortable nights stay. Central Oamaru, so good location with plenty of free parking at the rear of the Hotel. Happy with my stay overall.

Amazing lovely old building! Nice rooms, bit of street noise early morning but hey the windows are thin and not double glazed. Nice bar, wanted to check out the other bar out the back too but it closed early.

Fantastic location, right in central spot. All the staff from reception to cafe & restaurant to housekeeping were so friendly & helpful. Hotel is lovely, some people might think old, which it is, but thats what we liked about it. Lovely Victoria building. Rooms have be renovated, beds were so comfortable and larger than modern hotels.Bathroom is small but again renovated and shower is so roomy and great water pressure. Wish we had have stayed longer. 2 nights not enough in this lovely hotel & town.

Old world charm. Booked a suite. Highly Recommended for extra space. And they gave me the room with a view to the sea. Fabulous hospitality in the restaurant.. great plus. Overall better than expected. And the town is a plus re old world buildings.

Spacious kingbed room. Very comfy bed and bathroom very well appointed. Classic vintage building loveingly restored. Breakfast staff amazing with yum food and the best coffee! Lounge room out of this world with old world charm all decked out with Christmas decorations. Will definitely go back again :)

Good hotel

Great location for walking everywhere. Warm room, good shower pressure, clean room. Only complaint was when at weekend there were loud music from the bar with music that can be heard from our room. Could also hear people chatting outside the room but overall it suits our purposes.
