Very nice old style hotel in a wooded spot next to the bay. Looks to be refurbished to its original charm with great attention to detail and very very clean throughout. Rooms are small and do not have amenities normally found in modern hotels, but there is a well equipped dinning area with everything you need. I will definitely stay again

Nice place overall. It’s very quiet, cozy, and comfortable. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, and overall it was not bad. The only downside was that there was a bathroom belonging to another room right behind the door of my room. Unfortunately, I could hear pretty much everything whenever they went to used it, which was uncomfortable. So, if you’re planning to stay here, I would recommend bringing earplugs, because you can hear quite a lot through the walls. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay and liked the peaceful atmosphere.

Best little hotel in Ocean Park. Hidden away in its own little world. Beautifully decorated and so nostalgic. Loved the room, loved the dining hall, loved all the beautiful art and fantastic book collections. If you’re looking for absolute peace, quiet and serenity… this is the place. 10/10. Will stay here again every time we can.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Moby Dick! I really appreciated the old-time charm and cozy, nostalgic feel. The grounds and surrounding scenery are absolutely beautiful, making it a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy the coast. What makes it even more special is knowing that staying here helps support marine research. That alone makes me even more excited to come back. If you're looking for a quaint, unique place with character and heart, I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be staying here again!

This property was amazing! Just what I needed to get out of town for the weekend. I was so surprised at how beautiful the house was, very nicely designed. Simple but elegant in a vintage sort of way. I definitely will be back. Great location for a single person, or a couple. I wouldn’t recommend young kids here as this was a very quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

There was absolutely nothing about the place. There was no staff to ask. Where to get things, like my room had no glass and I really needed one for water. Pretty place but you could hear everything and everyone. If you stay here bring earplugs.

Staff was great, just needed wash clothes in room. Website needs work though explaining about which rooms have private bathrooms. We got to move to a room with a private bathroom. The staff was very helpful with that. Also Website needs to explain about rooms with extra beds are a separate room. Also there was a notification about no pets but didn't have any information on service dogs. Otherwise, We loved the spot, the room and the area! Can't wait to see what they do with all the building upgrades they're working on! We definitely will stay again. Like to bring the whole family for a big family reunion!
