Location was amazing - right in the town centre - the room was bright and clean and actually really nice- of course there was a buzz and hubbub from the street below but it didn't go in ridiculously late or detract from a good night's sleep, the beds and pillow were comfy, everything was fine. 「Lovely boutique hotel located close to the rural town of Oñati and the Sanctuary of Arantzazu. The hotel is well located both within the Basque countryside but also within walking distance of the town (20 minutes), which affords many bars and restaurants (indeed a disproportionate number for so a small a town - I counted about 20!) I enjoyed the scenery and going on walks in the countryside and there's even the Usako waterfalls a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is well equipped with a restaurant...

「 Belle bâtisse et l'intérieur est magnifique Très grande et belle chambre qui était très propre et en très bon état. La literie était très confortable. Il y a un bar ou l'on peut manger des tapas en prenant un verre pour un prix très raisonnable. Nous sommes arrivés vers 17h et c'est le serveur qui fait office de réceptionnaire de l'hôtel. Dommage que l'on ne parle pas Français dans cet établissement. Il n'y a plus de restaurant à l'hôtel et pas grand chose dans le secteur, hormis derrière...

Not a lot of options for dining close by, so be prepared to bring things for dining, or travel a little to get to a restaurant during the week (there are restaurants close by in Ea on the weekends, 5 minutes away from the property). Regardless of this, we liked a lot our stay in Udaibai Etxea.」
