Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This apartment is part of a larger home built by an eccentric builder from the early 60s, a lot of it is original, with the unique bathroom fixtures, and the unique door. It is next to the national forest; you will likely see all sorts of wildlife. It has all of the modern touches that make it a comfortable place to stay, fast internet, and comfortable beds. It is close to downtown for all your urban needs.
The Space:
There is an outdoor area that has patio furniture. This will mostly be to yourself, but due to raking and snow shoveling, it is still considered a shared space so these services can be taken care of.
The door is unique and is all in one; you will have access to a lock box with the keys inside to enter the property.
The living room is right as you enter, with the kitchen on the right and bedrooms on the left. Once in the apartment, the entire living space is on the same level, with the laundry being down a flight of stairs.
Each room has a TV, a queen bed, and access to a bathroom. Only bedroom one has a completely private bathroom
-30 minutes to Salt Lake City and the airport
-About 20 minutes to Snowbasin (IKON), rated the number one ski resort in the US.
-45 minutes to Powder Mountain Ski Resort
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole apartment and the patio connected to it. The house to the south and all of its lawn are not part of the listing. There is a trail connected to the patio that guests have access to.
Please do not go to the larger house or its surrounding property. There are some locked doors in the listing (locked from both sides); beyond these doors is not part of the listing. The garages below the listing are not part of the listing either.
Other Things to Note:
Parking is down the stairs. There are around 17 steps to get to the unit. There is no elevator.
We do not allow pets, and we highly discourage service animals (legally, they are allowed) due to the wildlife present on this property. It is in the mountains, and borders the forest service, and the mountains have wildlife. Pets or service animals that run off, bark, or are just outside may be injured or worse by wildlife.
Interaction with Guests:
I do everything completely remote. I am always available by app or by phone for questions, and I am local to the area if issues arise, but I like to let my guests check in at their convenience.
