Splinter Shack Ski Lodge rivals any Park City home for 1/4 the cost! 20 minutes to Snowbasin, 35 minutes to Powder Mountain, 1 hour to all 7 resorts in SLC and 45 minutes to all 3 resorts in Park City. (Ski 4 times more in Ogden rather than waiting in lines from the resorts in SLC and Park City) Snowbasin was home to the 2002 Winter Olympics and the future home of the 2034 Winter Olympics. Nestled in the charming Ogden, just north of Salt Lake City, this incredible and cozy log cabin/lodge awaits. Splinter Shack
Splinter Shack is no shack !!! The home is incredible ! The hosts were literally the best hosts anyone could ask for !!! They promptly answered all questions and went over and above to accommodate us . The ambiance and attention to detail makes this place the best !! The game room is amazing and the large table made our meals delightful. Highly recommend!

Love the Splinter Shack
The splinter shack was a great place to stay with plenty of room and all the necessities you may need with a fun game room for the kids to enjoy. It's a short ride up to the ski resorts which was not a hassle at all. Ogden is a great small town with plenty of restaurants. Thanks to Ray and Wendy for making this a great experience.

Excellent Stay at Splinter Shack
Very enjoyable stay for our group of seven. The property is beautiful - the pictures and the listing are accurate. The visit by the deer was an added bonus!Several in our group are skiers, and Splinter Shack is close to Snowbasin and Powder Mountain, and within an hour’s drive of the Brighton complex and Beaver Mountain.The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are large and comfortable, the game room was a lot of fun, and the hot tub was amazing.Ray, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating, without being intruding. Overall, a great place for our family reunion. Thank you!

Great house for a family or group trip!
One of a kind log cabin home 30 minutes from Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley skiing. Very comfortable and well-equipped house with 4 comfortable bedrooms, spacious common spaces and a terrific game room with pool table, ping pong, arcade games and darts. Bonus was a newly installed outdoor hot tub. A great vacation retreat for a family or several couples. Close to skiing and plentiful shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommended!

A great place to stay, for a big group, close to Snow basin ski resort
Spacious, well organized property, very accommodating property managers, offered prompt communication and flexibility. We were 7 in our group, and still did not occupy all the common spaces; large kitchen and dinning areas. A fun place to be!! Highly recommended.
