“As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many motels, but Village Resort Taupo stands out as one of the best. The apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is superb - it's just a 2-minute walk across the road to the lake, yet the motel itself is very quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds at the lakeside. I will absolutely be returning to stay there on my next visit to Taupo.”

“It was lovely and quiet. The view is beautiful. The host's communicated well, the cookies and coffee sachets were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable, a mattress protector would be a good investment. The only thing lacking was a proper table and chairs to sit comfortably with your drink and Crossword puzzle 😁. “Excellent place with everything anyone would need along with comfortable linen and soft towels. We all enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back and stay again. The fireplace was a great addition during winter also. The description of the bed layout in the bedrooms was a little confusing. There are 2 single beds on 2 of the bedrooms along with a queen bed in each of the 2 rooms also. The out house contained a queen bed which could not fit a portacot into. “It was a fantastic home. You could see that the owner takes care off his property. My friends and family enjoyed using the wood burner provided during the night. The placed did rattle on occasion due to trucks as we were on a main road. My brother felt it added character. Because it was so close to everything it outweighed any minor sound annoyance.”

“Traveling with my family of 7 and my parents, I needed a place that could sleep 9 people. My options were slim, however we found the perfect place with this rental. The house and gardens are beautiful, the view is spectacular out to the lake. The location is extremely private, you wouldn’t know you were in a neighborhood as it’s surrounded by native bush.
