"The renovated western room was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. There is a large onsen attached to the hotel. If you don’t pre-book breakfast it might not be available and there are limited food options in Amanohashidate."

While the building is historic, it is classic and impeccably maintained, offering a charm you just can’t find in modern hotels. The onsen facilities were a highlight—incredibly relaxing and the perfect way to unwind. The location is also unbeatable, situated right next to Chionji Temple and the scenic beach walking path. We opted for the meal package, and it was a highlight of our trip; both breakfast and dinner were delicious and clearly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the staff. They were incredibly kind, courteous, and went out of their way to answer every question we had. We are already looking forward to our next visit!"

"Very clean, traditional Japanese style room with ocean view. Breakfast buffet was my favorite part. The hotel is simple, but beautiful. Hours are limited to the public bath (onsen) and restaurants. If you plan on using the public bath, there’s specific ours for men and women."

"No toilet or shower in the room. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator. There was only 1 shower stall for our use, and it was on the first floor. This “hotel”/motel is not suitable for elderly guests."
