Weekend getaway

This property was perfect for what we needed. We weren't able to access the check in videos, and while we were unloading we had people coming up to ask us about mowing the yard, etc. Other than that, we had a good stay.

Clearly has been smoked in. One bedroom was unusable. Plumbing issues in the bathroom (sink was draining straight into the cabinet below and onto the floor). Linens did not appear clean. Previous occupants had left rotting food in the oven which the cleaners failed to notice, so the smell was awful. Only ended up staying one night out of 4, since it was too late to find something else that last minute. Waiting for refund.

The property is great for the price. It is the back of a house. I thought it would be a duplex type thing but it’s an add on to a home and it appears they rent both units. The backyard was very tall, over a foot for sure and that was disappointing. It has a nice fence, doggie door, the only down fall is the gate isn’t secured so I didn’t feel safe letting my dog use the doggie door because anyone could walk by and open that gate without me knowing. Especially with other travelers next door. They may not know any better, if it were locked, I’d feel better. There is a chain on the front door for extra security but the back door is a sliding glass door. It would be good to have a rod that goes behind the door to secure it along with the lock. The more security they have, the better off you are. Minor repairs need to be done and the yard needs mowed and picked up but again for the price, it’s great.
