「Absolutely charming and very well equipped small home. A lot of small amenities to make it welcoming. Didn't realize it had steps, that was our fault for not checking. We found the registration process to be confusing trying to do it through Expedia as it was a vbro. The owner went out of her way to be helpful.」

「I have rented many places and I’m ranking this as one of the best rentals I have ever rented.1. Communication: Ben was extremely responsive and friendly.2. Location: The town of Old Fort has gone through a lot in the past few years, but that has not diminished its charm and resilience. The house sits on a beautiful creek and has a great view of the sunrise which we enjoyed from the screened in porch. The house is walking distance from downtown. The downtown has several breweries with great...

「Our stay at the Bald Mountain Lake condo was fantastic! The location is perfect for fishing or kayaking right off the private pier in the condo’s backyard, and we loved using the resort pool and lazy river, just a short drive across the golf course. It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful lake getaway. The host was easy to communicate with and was quick with responses, which made the booking process smooth and stress-free. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. After booking through...

「This was our 3rd year staying in Black Mountain while our children attended a program called Compass at Montreat College. It was our first time staying in this property and we were very satisfied with our choice. Great communication, everything was clean and as advertised. Plenty of hot water and A/C and the beds were comfy. Overall quiet neighborhood though we did hear an occasional dog bark here and there but not during sleeping hours. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.」
