「We loved Alec’s place. Great watching the storms roll in under the protection of the verandah.」

「As a returning guest I was again not disappointed by this fabulous set up on the river. Everything we needed, great space to spend with the whole family, from the 1 yo to the 60 yo. The high chair and kids toys, games, colouring and cutlery make such a difference. The pizza oven a hit. Glorious views from the kitchen and balcony. A great base for us visiting Monarto and paddle steamer cruise. Will definitely come again.」

「The communication with the property owner was fantastic....This is truely a hidden gem.....Nature, quietness, calmness galore!! A great place to relax and enjoy. The fire pit is sensational. The inside decor is a bit dated but still very comfy and a great hot shower!! Loved our second stay - We will be back!」

「We stayed here with 3 families together, 6 adults, 6 kids and there was plenty of room. Great house with great facilities and the grassed area leading down to the jetty was great for playing all sorts of games/sports. Highly recommend.」

「The elevated cottage is right on the river with direct access to the water. You can sit on the deck, sipping gin & tonics, catch fish from the private jetty, watch water activity and the majestic sunsets, it’s superb. Recommend hiring a speed boat for multi-day stays if you have a family - Murray Bridge Speed Boat hire even delivers the boat direct to the private jetty!」
