「This house has so much character. I loved all the old floors, fireplaces, moldings, doorknobs and just all the history in every room. It is a wonderful, quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to town. It is a very casual place to stay. It feels like visiting a friend. Nothing fancy but I felt right at home. The kitchen had everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable, the backyard is very private. I would stay here again.」

「We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. 「The house is a nice little place to stay, very quiet and away from noises. Easy to find. The goats were very cute to watch. Didnt get a chance to use the pool but looked like a nice place to cool off after exploring the area. Was about 20 min to downtown historic Fredericksburg but wasnt a bad drive. Only challenge i had was the shower is on the smaller side, a moveable showerhead would make it easier. 」

「EVERYTHING went very smoothly. I’ve never booked our family vacations (I’m 70 years old!!) I was concerned about it being a gated community (nope, never had to deal with that either). The hosts were very patient and thoughtful about all my questions and concerns. The house suited us perfectly and everything was there that was needed and even wanted. There were 4 young teenage boys and they were never bored. The kitchen had every appliance we needed. Only had trouble finding the vegetable peeler....
