Place was peaceful and very nice . They do a very good job. Very comfortable less than 15 mins to town. Less 5 mins to the first boat ramp. Less 10 mins to marina. Highly recommended

Olive hill family roots
This cozy cabin on a quiet road had a front porch with a swing. A back porch with a table we could enjoy coffee and dinner outside. We had a cozy fire in the evening and just unplugged from our busy lives. The cabin has everything you need and more. Very comfortable home to stay . You have the lakes and 2 state parks to go on adventures during the day and just breathe fresh mountain air. The veiws are beautifully.

Great place to stay!
This is a great place to stay near Grayson Lake. The cabin is well equipped with lots of extras. Snacks, condiments, spices, fully equipped kitchen and a grill. We will make this a yearly stay for our family.

Father's day weekend
Doris has a very nice cabin near Grayson lake. She has thought of everything you might need. Easy to get to, not far from the lake and the city of Grayson. We had a good time.. The only suggestion I would have would be a visitor log book like I have seen at other places. It's nice to see where people have come from. Overall I rate it 5 stars

The property manager clearly is experienced. The cabin was very well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The stay made our "adventure weekend" so easy for the teenagers and adults in our group. We kayaked on Grayson Lake, went hiking, and visited a cave and this was a good central location for all of our plans. We will surely be staying here again as we thought this accommodation was a solid value.

Hiking Trip to Carter Caves
Renting this property was a very nice experience, from original booking through the end of our leave. The property pictures of the listing are perfect . The host is very easy and professional to communicate with and is very responsive. The host makes checking in, your stay, and checking out bery simple. The host also provides various necessities so all you have to do is bring your food, bags, and be ready to relax. We choose this property because our goal was to hike at carter caves state park and did not want to stay in the lodge, its was an easy drive to the state park. Only 1 recommendation for this property would be to invest in some mattress pads for the bedrooms. But no complaints at all! This property has it all! If we intend to be back around this area we will 100% stay at this property again.

It was a lovely stay. My friend and I enjoyed the quietness and the quaintness of the cabin. We also liked that everything we needed to clean and/or sanitize before we left, was already available...every need was met. Thanks to Ms. Doris for a restful retreat, that was like home away from home.

The cabin was perfect for my brother and I. We were hunting with a friend who had property close by! The cabin was neat and clean! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals in the evenings. Doris was great with communicating and was quick to respond! I would highly recommend would hope to be back in the future.

Absolutely a beautiful cabin! Everything you think you need is stocked and everything you wouldn't think of. If you want to get out of a city setting this is the place for you. Near Grayson state Park, a beautiful place in itself. I cannot say enough kind things, I am definitely looking forward to my next trip here!

Sister Cabin Vacation
I've rented alot of places over the years but this cabin was the best place ever. The owners have stacked this cabin with everything u could possibly need! Really clean and we were so comfortable sleeping here. The area is gorgeous, the hills and the caverns, Grayson lake, deers right in our yard. You don't need to bring anything with u but your clothes. We absolutely loved this cabin and it made our sister vacation the best one ever.

If you are looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay then your search ends here. This cabin was very clean and is conveniently located. If you forget to bring something it’s more than likely already in the cabin waiting for you. Everything was provided such as: shampoo, soap, body wash, towels, wash cloths, laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach, dryer sheets, trash bags, paper towels, dishes, pot and pans, spices, snacks, wood for fire pit, gas grill, etc. They even provided board games, cards, coloring books/crayons, and a couple scooters for the kiddos 😊 My children didn’t want to leave. Customer service could not have been any better. The host has thought of everything possible to make your stay more comfortable and affordable. My family will be visiting again soon.

We loved the cabin. It is much better than the pictures. It was spotlessly clean and there are many, many extras (snacks, towels, soap, shampoo, cut wood, gas for the grill, games, wifi, streaming channels, etc.). The kids loved the firepit and enjoyed collecting dead branches. We used the grill almost every day. Quiet area, very nice for hiking. And the lake! The sleeper sofa is good for children, but the thin mattress might be uncomfortable for heavier adults. Don't miss Carter Caves State Park. It is half an hour away and has fantastic hiking trails. We chose the three bridges trail and enjoyed the astounding rock arches. The cabin is about fifteen minutes from Grayson, were you can buy anything you may need and there are many places to have dinner. I specially recommend Weavers Market (539 W Main St, Grayson) to buy Amish and Mennonite homemade products and order great sandwiches for a quick lunch. If you have time, try Walker’s Restaurant (109 Railroad St, Olive Hill, KY 41164), a great local diner, with delicious food, where everything is homemade, all the customers know each other and are friendly to strangers. Not a fancy place, but good American cooking and very cheap. The owner is usually around and likes to chat with new customers.

Perfect little get away
Super cute cabin! Owners were very quick to respond to any silly question I had pop up before We arrived .. They have literally thought of everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable.. condiments in the fridge, spices for cooking, snacks on the table, which really came in handy because we didn’t realize how far away town was. We had absolutely no phone service so luckily there was Wi-Fi Would definitely rent from again thank you for the wonderful experience

Loved this cabin. Nice set up for family or a few friends. Friendly touches with games, extra treats and even a pair of scooters on the front porch. Loved the large porch swing and fire ring in back yard. Rustic feel but has everything you could need. Wonderful and responsive hosts. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We love staying this close to the lake to go fishing. This was our second time this year and improvement was obvious. The privacy fence was finished and a new grill! We where supplied with more than expected inside. So helpful knowing the extra that Doris provides when we’re packing for the trip. This will always be our Grayson go to rental.
