David & Stella look forward to hosting you in our lovely holiday home in the tranquil setting of Omori .
We are one of the few omori holiday homes where you will be dealing directly with the owners. That’s means we can offer value pricing all year round with a flat rate for the property with no additional guest fees
Please note unlike many other places we do not charge a “cleaning fee “ or a “bond” preferring instead to believe that our guests will treat our lovely holiday home and possessions with respect

Omori is a very central location , Situated on the southern shores of lake Taupo handy to Tongariro National Park & ski fields etc but only 40 mins from Taupo . Omori is a very family orientated location and has excellent community facilities including, All weather boat ramp , Tennis court , Excellent swimming beaches & a well stocked general store.
Regional attractions include , Trout Fishing , Tongariro national park , hot pools , mountain biking ..... and numerous other activities.
Lockwood style house 2 bedroom , sleeps 4 . lovely quiet spot in a no exit street , perfect for familys. Lake Taupo 2 mins walk away & childrens playground across the road . Large flat section with drive thru off street parking for the boat(s)
Property is now fully fenced on all sides with lockable gates on both entrances . For your enhanced safety we now have external security cameras operating
Being a Lockwood style house the house is very warm in winter with a cosy fireplace and plenty of firewood . Gas hot water also means unlimited hot water so no problem for the entire family to have hot showers after a day on the ski fields
Then kick back and watch your favourite movie or sports on the large wall mounted LCD flat screen whilst reclining in the leather lazyboy chairs , or fire up the BBQ and enjoy the evening out on the large deck with shade cover

Perfect place for us
Fully fence plus corner site is really ideal for us. You can park the boat easily inside of the gate, site is flat so easy for our boat. We always need to take our dog for holiday, it's a lot easy with a fully fence site. Nice and quiet street.

Lovely spot
What a great place. Picnics by the lake with the children, ice creams at the local shop, board games if it’s raining. We even found glow worms nearby. Highly recommend.

Great house and location
Had a terrific long weekend at Serendipity. Clean, well appointed house with everything you could want or need, set in a lovely garden. Omori as a location is beautiful. Lots of walks and places to explore. Very appreciative that the hosts allowed two very small dogs, this really elevated the holiday.

Great stay
Tidy house and yard, everything you need for a cozy stay. Not many places you can take your dogs away on holiday, this house was perfect plenty of room for the dog crates in the lounge with out them getting in the way. Fully fenced section stunning deck. Very handy for nearby walks and easy trip to Taupo for a day of adventure. Will hopefully be back for another stay soon.

Great space to relax
Enjoyed our stay. Was clean and a quiet and relaxing spot. A short, scenic drive to Turangi gives plenty of options.
Plenty of space outside etc to entertain kids and a playground just across the road as well.

Everything you need
Well presented, tidy, cute bach with everything you need! We enjoyed returning here after a day at the beach. Internet and Netflix a bonus! It was great to be able to bring our dogs too. Unfortunately one of our doggies realised the height of the fence was a breeze to jump over. Fencing better suited to little dogs. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it. A bit of a walk to the beach but definitely not a big deal.

Much needed get away
We had the best 4 days away in Omori. From the time I booked the cottage to getting there, it was all so easy. The hosts were helpful and so accommodating and also allowed us to have a dog with us.
The house is comfortable and perfect for our 2 boys to run around in the garden and play. The fire was perfect for the days we got back from being in the snow and the walks are lovely and relaxing. We loved the area, it was so quiet and peaceful.
Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back in the summer time and plan to make coming to your holiday house in omori our new family get away place.

Great winter holiday
My three kids and I stayed at the bach, and we had a great time. It was very cosy and warm with great amenities. Great location - we went for walks around the lake and up Mount Ruapehu. I hope to be back!
