"So pleased with this hotel set right in the middle of the old and new town. This hotel was spotlessly clean and staff so attentive. The bed was comfortable and room cleaned daily. The only fault I could find in the room was the hairdryer and next time I’d bring my own! There’s a lift to a back door taking you into the centre. The rooftop terrace with pool had stunning views but was closed during our stay due to the weather. We used the spar which was basic but enjoyable for an hour. We only booked breakfast for our last day and were glad we hadn’t for the duration. There’s a lovely cafe/patisserie 400yds out of the back door of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again next time."

"Hotel too far away from the town. Only way down is the lift, unless you want to walk a couple of miles along winding roads. And last time for the lift back to hotel is 19.30 which isn’t great."

"A great stay at this hotel - excellent breakfast and helpful staff. It is close to the seafront and the funicular. It’s on a busy road, but very conveniently has a bus stop just outside the front."
