「We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). The WiFi worked the whole time we were there which was very helpful when mapping out our hikes. Plenty of...

Showed us some other spots on the property that looked to be amazing as well. I highly recommend to give this a try. If you like the outdoors and great customer service, you’ll be very happy here. 「I gave 4 out of 5 only bc we thought by the picture of Seneca Rocks that we would be able to see it from the cabin and that's not possible. The cabin was amazing. We were in cabin 4 and it was exactly as advertised. There is no soap mentioned and although there was hand soap, dish soap, shampoo and conditioner there was no body wash and the shampoo was almost gone probably bc guests before us washed their bodies like we did. The cabin was basically soundproof as we heard nothing but birds...

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing by the fire pit and in the hot tub, and listening to birds on the balcony in the mornings. 「The land of Canaan resort was a four star rental for me. It was very clean and comfy, the beds were soft and we had plenty of space. My kids also enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool and the game room space. I am giving four stars because of the WiFi situation. To get WiFi, you have to go through a third party and after paying for it, it hardly worked unless you sat near a window and only worked on one device. We had a family of 6. I also did not really communicate with the host at all....
