wonderful onis

we had an excellent time, so much to do, plenty of rivers and lakes to explore. Not far from the coast where there are plenty of fishing villages with good bar/resturaunts.

I will define this hotel as a roadside motel in a nice location near Picos de Europa National Park. Handy if you're visiting the area, but nothing to write home about. The matresses in both double bed and sofa-bed needed to be replaced long time ago, the bathroom door didn't open completely and the lighting system is, at least, peculiar.

Quiet country apartment.

Lovely area beautiful scenery plenty of walking,beach within 20 mins. we stayed 2 weeks. Central heating was fine as slightly chilly in evenings although in June. Owner Carolina was very helpful, anything we needed was sorted immediately, spoke basic english. Basic cooking facilities 2 hot plates, plus micro. dishwasher but we didn't use as only 2 of us, also washing m/c. No electric kettle, but we took our own. Clean linen given 3 times in 2 weeks, but no room service, which suited us. Take basic food requirements, small shop in Benina (more expensive than supermarkets in next town) & fruit & veg not very fresh. Local village - Benina within walking distance try Sidereia Casa Moreno, large meals, reasonable prices, good welcome & Manuela owner speaks good English. There is a bar/café over the road, but not very welcoming & no atmosphere, Although only went one evening so maybe would be better lunch times. All in all - a geat place to stay.

Visita Asturias a tu aire y casi como en casa.

Los apartamentos son sencillos pero están muy límpios. Muy calentitos con la calefacción y el agua caliente. Con lo básico pero suficiente para visitar la zona (muy bien situados)y pasar agusto unos días, poder hacer desayuno y algo sencillo de cenar, por ejemplo. En 5 minutos en coche o unos 10-15 andando se llega al pueblo de al lado donde hay tiendas (estanco, ultramarinos...) y bares. Si hay suerte y el tiempo es bueno, tiene un porche muy bonito a la entrada. Para mi, calidad-precio fenomenal. La dueña (perdón no me acuerdo su nombre) muy amable y disponible, ofrece información y sugerencias de recorridos, visitas, restaurantes... para mi muy valorable y positivo.

Great value self catering apartment

A comfortable apartment which is a good base for exploring the area. The owner speaks some English and it was easy to communicate with the help of a Spanish phrase book. The apartment is on the main road on the right one hundred meters after the turnoffs for the village of Avin. Look out for the blue house on the right and it is soon after that. It looks just like the photo, set back from the road. Breathtaking mountain scenery, beaches nearby and a day trip to Oviedo made for a varied and enjoyable holiday. We found the Alimerka supermarkets had everything you would need including fresh meat, bread and fish.
