「Read some negative comments from various hotels booking website, have struggled to book it or not, but there are not really many hotels / ryokans in Onomichi. Anyway, the reality is, starting from the check in till check out, we are very satisfied and amazed. We need to give it a fair comment to support the staff there. 「When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day.
