"It was a fine stay. The room was cool with the projector for viewing and we loved the souvenir machine. We slept comfortably and the hotel was quiet. The room was fairly clean and water pressure was great for the shower. Free bottles of water in the room was nice as well. However the cafe closed early, the ice cream machine wasn't working and the rooftop bar was closed. The property had dust bunnies throughout and staff was sparse which made it feel a bit like a ghost town. "

"I checked in to the onomichi Daichi hotel before cycling the Shimanami Kaido. I was cycling over two days and wanted my luggage forwarded to Imabari station and the staff were able to give me ample information about how long it would take and costs. They held my luggage at the hotel for one day and then sent it the following day and it was waiting for me when I finished cycling. I had a great nights sleep, breakfast was tasty and set me up for the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"This is a very basic hotel and is exactly as pictured. It was very clean and the rooms were spacious by Japan standards. It was nice to have the sitting area in the main lobby. Good for one night. Coffee was expensive and not great. Lawton’s coffee down the street was just as good. Good value for the price."

"The hotel is older and in need of upgrades both inside and out However everything was clean and orderly We had a great corner room with huge views from two windows with no overlooking The food was traditional Japanese done to perfection really a beautiful dinner and breakfast so wonderful to try so many new things A fun experience high up in the surrounding hills"
