Bonn Opera Bonn Hotels

"Bland review as unable to comment on most aspects. Unfortunately when I arrived no room had been booked for me at the Kaiser Karl in spite of my reservation confirmation from Expedia and the hotel was full. The staff member on reception was fabulous and sorted me an alternative hotel and covered the costs of a taxi to get me there. Thankfully the hotels were also able to sort out a transfer of funds which I had already paid for Kaiser Karl. No idea if this situation was the fault of Expedia or...

"The furnishings are Bo-Concept in the lobby but the bedrooms are more basic Ikea style. The hotel is unmanned a lot of the time but when there, the staff are very helpful. No air con, but they provided fans on request as we stayed during a heatwave. Accommodation is clean."

"This hotel was a great find and within walking distance to many museums, the river and Ubahn / Sbahn stops. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also great - but otherwise dining options are about 25 mins walk toward the city centre. Would stay again!"
