Bachelorette Weekend

We decided to stay here because the bride wanted a relaxing weekend floating in a lazy river, with a few hours spent at Disney and this place exceeded our expectations. The house was gorgeous and we all had more than enough room. The private pool was wonderful but we spent most of our time in the lazy river and it was fantastic. We will be staying here again.

Everything and more!

So close to grocery and restaurants. The venue we attended 4 days of our visit was within minutes. Super close to Disney parks. Magic Kingdom was 9 miles away. Loved the house. Had so much space. Kitchen was well stocked with things we needed to make meals. Would definitely come back to this particular house.

Florida Holiday

Had a fantastic stay at this property. Great location in relation to parks, shopping and restaurants. Villa was clean and spacious. Did have a couple of issues. The villa is advertised as suitable for 10 peoplebut we were only 5 and although there were enough beds, i think it would be far to small for 10 people. There is only one couch in the living area and not much room around the pool area, although the communal pool area is fab. The entry gate was a bit temperamental, which wasn't just us as other drivers were struggling with it. Overall i would definitely recommend this villa/area but again would say it would be small for 10 peopleaffecting istemramentalpool

Mice!!!

The property itself was clean. The property photos matched the accuracy of the property. There was sufficient plates cups pots and pans etc. the pool was great. The location was easy to fine and easy to get to places. Unfortunately the first morning we woke up to mice droppings in our bed and on our nightstand. Immediately contacted the property. They stated they would come put traps out. They did not. That night we actually saw the mice running around in a different bedroom on the main floor and could hear them scratching all night. The property did not answer when tried contacting. The next morning I asked for a new rental and they stated they would send a pest company over. The pest company was very thorough and nice but did not eliminate the problem as we found more mice droppings in our bed the next night. We continued to message the property owner and they stated the pest control handled the problem. We last 3 days of our week trip we did have any more encounters but we did have neighbors that did not abide by the noise policy.

Cockroach bait traps in Kitchen Cabinets!!!

The rental unit apparently had an issue with bugs which made me wash everything before I used it, & left my suitcase zipped & fully packed. The next problem is one of necessary maintenance: the locks on sliding doors didn’t lock. There were 4 bad circuit breakers, moldy rotting baseboards in the upstairs bathroom, leaking ceiling plumbing filling up the kitchen down light, a huge cobweb left by some sort of mega spider gracing the dining area. There is a poorly stocked kitchen. The frig filter needs changing. There were no dish cloths, only 1 kitchen drying towel, a useless micro sponge, no mixing bowls/serving bowls or platters, no juice pitcher, only 6” & 9” frying pans, abused pots & pan set, dull knives & falling apart, no place mats, or even an anti-slip sink area rug. Laundry soap for the dishwasher, (no pool towels, or toaster but were furnished 2 days later & the circuits were repaired after we lost all 1st floor lighting for 20 hours & once I made a 2nd maintenance call.) When I notified the manager, there was water dripping from a can light, I never heard a word. I took photos. As a former property manager I was disappointed. I have stayed in Storey Lakes since its beginning. Household essentials & major mechanicals & appliances wear out. This unit needs a top to bottom inspection & cleaning and repair.
