「Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. 「Leon & Janeen were kind and responsive, making sure we had all we needed. The house was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for. It is quiet and private with a nice view of fields and a creek outside, and lots of birds and squirrels. Everything seems to be new inside, and has a nice and clean design. The kitchen is big with lots of counter space and good appliances, which was very helpful for us since we cook every day. Thank you so much!」

「This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low.
