「If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, nature filled get away, this is a perfect choice. The front porch provides a beautiful view of the river side of Lake Rathbun. The sky is full of birds, pelicans, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets...along with hummingbirds that fly right up on the porch with you. It's a simple charming atmosphere, peaceful, relaxing and just minutes away from the boat ramp. A hidden gem, highly recommend.」

「I loved the cottage...very clean and cute...the road getting back to it needs a little clean up...smoother...we drove our Dodge Challenger...we ended up bottoming out...we drove my brothers car back that night so that was fine...and just one more thing, but not a big deal...need to have a few more outlets or extention cords available. 「It was just wait we needed. Little noise because of location but very close to our family. However, the only think that was missed was a hair dryer, I thought that was a given like an iron that was there and towels. I bought a one and left it so the next person will have one. I hope they leave it in there. The other thing is I have stayed many places and never been ask to strip the bed. I thought that would have been part of cleaning fee a paid.」

「I only got three days for my vacation this year and really wanted something different. This little cottage is truly a solitary getaway - and yet, in the midst of a working farm!!
