Great little Motel. Renovated rooms with cold ac, luxury vinyl plank flooring,comfy beds, amazing beach and weather. Great hospitality. Kitchenette! Pretty much has all the amenities that a hotel has without the hotel price. I checked The Coast and Holiday Inn and the wanted $700 for two nights. This place was $215 a night plus tax. Ive stayed at those places in the past but they getting to expensive now. Noisy there too. Nice and quiet at Richter Pass.

I mean it is a 2-star motel not sure why I expected more but I did and I as let down. I just hate when the photos don’t match the rooms. We arrived early and couldn’t check in till 4 which was fine but I also received a text saying I couldn’t check in after 5. That’s a small window. First time I’ve ever been to a hotel/motel without a microwave or even a toaster oven to reheat food. I made eggs with a spoon for my kids. It was just

Best location, on the lake, awesome staff! Lots of dining / entertaining options within walking distance for both adults and kids. The room is loaded with a separate bedroom with twin beds and a sofa bed so lots of flexibility. Full kitchen (no microwave:(), huge fridge, cable TV. The only little drawback is that it smelt strong like oldish-cannabis-smoky weird smell and the AC doesn’t go to the bedroom so it is really hot. You can open the window which gives a noce breeze, but then it gets noisy with the birds around and the early risers in the morning. However, the staff being so friendly and the family vibe resort make it great. We would definitely go back!
