"The hotel is extremely dated. Everything from the elevators to the hallway windows feels like it’s stuck in the last century. Since Queenstown is quite humid, there’s visible mold throughout the building. The worst part was the shower—the hot water was just a weak trickle. The only saving grace was the staff, who were very friendly. Only stay here if you don’t mind aging facilities."

The manager was incredibly helpful and proactive, coordinating our check-in and providing a seamless self-check-in option for our late arrival. They also kindly let us store our bags after check-out, which gave us the freedom to explore the local scenery unencumbered. With the property currently expanding, it’s clear that Archway remains a popular choice for many. We’ll definitely be back!"
