"After Vrbo confirmed the booking, we never heard again from the host. The day of the stay I was told they never answer any txt or calls. Had to find were to stay last minute, with kids, on the middle.of the night. Not the greatest experience."

"We have no idea what this was like since we never got to stay there. The host contact number was not in service. We never received any check in instructions and we went to the property and no one was there. We paid and reserved this weeks before. We were in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country in a taxi with a 4 month old baby in the heat without being able to get into the place we paid for. To make it even worse when we called customer service for both VRBO and Expedia, I was on hold for...

"We went to Xcalak not really ,knowing what to expect…we arrived to the property and made ourselves at home…we walked around town and most looked at us like we were as new in town as we were..this only lasted a few days and then everyone greeted us with a friendly smile and a Hola wherever we went Xcalak is the town time forgot…it’s a place where relaxation can truly take place…we ate at most of the restaurants in the area and enjoyed every meal…nothing fancy just real food The house was fine...
